Boston Videographer Recommendations?

We’re going with AVR Photography out of Chelmsford. I can’t give positive or negative reviews because the wedding isn’t until May, but they seem to have wonderful reviews from everything I’ve read.  They have photographers from all over New England who work for them.  Keeping our fingers crossed that it all works out.

We chose a complete wedding package from them – photographer (we were guaranteed in our contract a Boston photographer that we liked), photo booth and videography.

Good luck!

We’re going with Long Haul Films – their work is amazing! Videography is definitely an investment but we’re so confident they will do a fantastic job. http://longhaulfilms.com/

kirabee:  do you mind me asking how much it was for Long Haul Films? They look amazing, but I’m not sure I can afford them!

We’re doing Caddigan Films. They had a March sale!! I love their cinematic style — it was hard to find this in my budget. My wedding is next month so I obviously don’t have feedback on my video, but I love all his past videos on his youtube channel. They make me cry! And he was really nice on the phone. Can’t wait!

taraelizabeth:  Their 8 hour package is $7500 – definitely a big expense and we debated about the cost for a long time, but in the end, we decided the splurge was worth it for such beautiful, high-quality work. 🙂

I got a wonderful, touching video from a very nice videographer Jon Eastty. And it was $995. Highly recommend. Really great guy!

kirabee:  MrsTywinLannister:  thank you! definitely an investment, but so many wedding videos make me cringe they are so bad, so i think it’s worth it

We went with Focused Bliss.  Our wedding isn’t until next year, but I absolutely love all the videos they have online, and when we met with the owner/main videographer it seemed like a great fit. Their focus is on story-telling.

We’re doing the basic package that is 8 hours of coverage, 2 videographers, and highlights film for $2600.  You have the option of adding on any other films for up to one year after the wedding, which is something we really appreciated. For our 1 year anniversary we’re going to buy the documentary edit for (I think) $1200.  So many of the less expensive options were cheesy or looked like something I could do myself.<br />

We just booked with McElroy Films. They came highly recommended by a handful of friends as well as the DOC for the venue. They are cheaper than Long Haul Films which was my first choice but totally unreasonable for my budget.

Starlite video! Awesome! He made the best highlight video that everyone just loved! I also got the raw footage…Bob was a pleasure to work with.  He has a page on facebook.
