I don't know what your budget is but check out Lefebvre Photo! I used them for my wedding in November and she is absolutely fantastic! Danielle is such a sweetheart, she is based out of RI but I know she will travel!

What's your budget like? I have a long list of photographers in an Excel spreadsheet but they might not be within your budget.
Our photographer is Rebecca Deaton. I think she lives south of Boston. I don't know what your budget is, but her prices are reasonable, and I like her style.
@lizzy105: Also try Laura Cliff Photography! She is a super close friend of mine, and I know it will sound biased but she does great work as well.

We went with Berryphotos and are thrilled with everything. They've have an amazing eye, don't charge by the hour and give every picture on disc. Definitely worth checking out!
We even planned a huge gap between ceremony/reception and they didn't charge a penny more!
@BayStateBride: Hi Bay State Bride--could you send me that list as well? I'd certainly appreciate any help/input you can give! Finding a photographer is our highest priority right now, for our Sunday, 10/21/12 wedding here in Boston. We're trying to keep photography around $2,000 and it's been a bit difficult finding a good one! Thank you for any help you can give!
I ALWAYS recommend my photographer, Sam Sadowsky. He is super affordable, and awesome to work with! His website is samuelsadowsky.com
My sister used http://toddstoilov.com/blog/ in 2010 and was very happy with his work and his prices. Todd is based in VT but travels all over New England and I know her budget was under $2k. He is very much a documentary photographer and does not do a lot of posing but captures emotions really well. He also charges for the event not per hour or at least that is how she paid which was a great feature.

Hi Bees!
My fiance and I are looking for an affordable photographer for a Friday evening wedding in October 2012 on the South Shore. We were originally using a friend (who is a photographer) but he will be moving out of state and is unable to commit. Does anyone have any suggestions?
