Hey all! So I took a huge leap, correction, I took a gigantic leap with lots of procrastination and did some boudair photos for my husband to be as his grooms present. My photographer is an independent that does it more for enjoyment of taking photos then for making money, which was sweet on the wallet! My question is has anyone done these and made them into a book for their grooms? Did you do it yourself, use shutterfly, snapfish, etc…? I just do not know who to use or, ahem, trust for that matter. I am also in a time crunch now with my wedding in a week and a half! So I gotta get the ball rolling. Also what size of book? I was thinking a modest 5×7 would work, the next size up was 11×8 and then they grow to some very discerning sizes for these photos to be in…HELP!!

If your wedding is in a week and a half, I think you might need to do something local or pay for rush shipping. I think a 5×7 would work as well.

jhilliard: I designed my groom’s boudoir photobook at home (using photoshop) and printed on my home printer. I did a digital scrapbook style 8×8 book. I’d be wary of using sites like shutterfly because of the fine print (even though my photos are very PG-13 and don’t contain nudity).

I should have stated that my pics are pretty PG-13 🙂 no nudity, nothing worse then wearing a bikini really. Is it just the suggestiveness of the photos that get them turned down or what? does anyone know?

I have used http://www.blurb.com/ before and they were really great! I ordered several books for my family of vacation photos and after several months one of the books binding started to come apart. I contacted them and they sent me a new one. You get to set up the photos and arrange them yourself which I thought was nice, I got to make them exactly as I liked. They also have some unique sizes.
