I'll be watching this topic with interest!
I know that Lara Swanson has done some based out of DC and N. Virginia. Other people I've seen recommended are Jen Lowe, Nicole Palermo/Borrowed Blue, Forever-Yesterday and Mandi. I have no experience with any of them though.

I didn't do a boudouire session with Nicole Palermo but she did teach me how to put on my make up for the wedding. SHE IS AMAZING!!!! I'm very picky about how make up is done and I LOVED LOVED LOVED what she did and I totally LOVED her! She makes you feel 100% comfortable and I am totally doing a B-shoot with her and Borrowed Blue Photography for our first anniversary. :) Good luck.....but if you think you might want to go with her/them.. you totally should! :)

I am hopefully doing my shoot with Nicole Palermo/Borrowed Blue in the next couple weeks! We're in the process of setting it up now. So far she's been great with contacting me in a timely manner and answering all of my questions! I'll let you all know how it goes!

I had my boudoir session with Nicole Palermo/Borrowed Blue this past friday and it was AWESOME!!! The ladies are sooooo sweet and they make you feel so comfortable. Nicole did a fantastic job with my hair and makeup (i'm kind of wishing she were doing my wedding makeup!). And I just saw my proofs today. They look amazing. The lighting and retouching really took the emphasis away from my problem areas and the way they have you pose highlights the right features. If anyone wants to see some of my PG-13 proofs PM me and I'll email you a couple of them. i HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! And if you're just looking for someone to do your makeup, Nicole is def your girl!
Have you tried mhartwins.com? They're twin sisters, both from Baltimore (one in Highlandtown.... don't remember where the other is now) who just shot our wedding and did AMAZINGLY well. Helen, one of the sisters, really has a god sense of lighting. I've been singing their praises all week since the wedding ended! :) and VERY affordable as well.
I highly recommend Endless Boudoir Photography. Their web addy is http://www.endlessboudoir.com/ The owner and lead photographer does amazing boudoir photos, pin up photography, romantic calendars. I had a wedding night photo book made up of me in my bridal lingerie and some other “naughty lingerie”. My fiancée loved it! The studio was so nice, very inviting and comfortable. The owner is a women and she is awesome and has a great sense of humor. I was so nervous, but I she made me relax right away. I have been recommending to all of my friends. And tell her I sent you... she has a referral program... so I get a free session if I get 5 people to get sessions through her! :) Please tell her I referred you, she'll remember me, I was the short blonde.
If you're looking for something a little different than traditional boudoir photography, Action Girl of Atomic Cheesecake Studios does amazing pin-up photography. A few of my friends have gone to her a few times and had wonderful experiences (and have great photos to share as a result).
My sister got b-pics done by Jen Lowe and they are incredible. We are using Jen for our wedding photography and we just had our engagement session and got the pictures back. I highly recommend her. Not only are her pics amazing, but she has a great personality and makes you feel really comfortable, which I think is especially important for b-pics. Good luck!
House of Boudoir by Marirosa out of herndon VA is awesome..I am a make up artist and she does awesome work!!!
