i did this for my husband- a few weeks before our wedding (it was supposed to be a wedding gift, but I lagged on getting them done) with Sarah K. Chen. Most packages are going to cost about $400+, but if you want to do it at a hotel, then you have to factor in the hotel costs :( If you can find a photographer that's doing a boudoir marathon- the price will be much cheaper!
Otherwise, try Hazelnut photography with Jordanna. I originally contacted her- but after factoring the hotel costs, etc., it was out of my budget. She's really nice and her packages alone are pretty reasonable. It's really just the extra costs that add up (hotel, hair, makeup, etc.).
The experience is super fun and it's nice to have these pictures to look back on :) Good luck!!
The photographer who took our engagement pictures also does boudoir photography, and I'd highly recommend her! She's still getting started, so her prices are very reasonable. Her website is: http://marilynnakazato.com/blog and she's located in OC.
I've gotten a lot of emails from Denise Adamo...she's in OC I think. Her packages ranged from around your range to really expensive. I'm paying $500 in San Diego...
Hi! I did it with one of our photogs (the female), she came down to SD but is close to OC, the pics turned out AMAZING and it was like, $400 for 2 hours of shooting, a 30 page book and all of the pictures on a disc.

Anyone doing this for their FI? Any good photographers that aren't too expensive in the OC area? I only want to spend about $400.
