I think I will do one…although it may end up DIY and not with a professional photog.  I know my FI would really like them, but more than that,  I think it would empowering and a confidence booster and just a great personal experience.

I voted not sure yet because, well, we’re already married, but I’m considering doing one for our anniversary or Christmas. I’m trying to get the courage to do it, but so far, so such luck.

I’d do it if it was free 🙂 I think they are awesome, but not something I’m willing to drop a few hundred dollars on (at the low end).

I certainly thought about it but idk how my FI would feel about our photog doing it… even though he’s a pretty close friend and he’s married himself (his wife would prolly assist)

    still don’t really know though….

    I have a session scheduled 🙂

Funny story, I was wrestling with the idea of doing it since it’s expensive and I was a little uncomfortable with going by myself. One day, I got an email from a discount site I use all the time and it was for discounted boudoir photos and I left it open on our computer since I was distracted.

DH (FI at the time) came up to me later that night with a big smile on his face asking if he was supposed to see the email. I told him that no, he wasn’t supposed to see it but I was glad he did b/c I wasn’t sure about it in the first place. He was of course ALL FOR it and I booked the session and he will be coming with me.

I’d LOVE to do one but right now they’re really out of my price range.  I’d love to find an up-and-coming photographer or a Groupon or something to get them more affordable.

I’m going to do it as a one-year anniversary present. Photos would work for the paper theme/tradition right?

It’s definitely a splurge but if you can afford it go for it! The good thing is you draw the line where you’re comfortable and not comfortable. Doesn’t have to be half nude at all.

I did them and loved it! It’s more for myself and I’m not sure how and if I’m ever going to give it to SO. Maybe for our 5th year wedding anniversary. I went ahead and did a session not knowing if SO would like it or it (I have a feeling he doesnt really like the idea of being photographed half naked).

It’s now my personal confidence boost!

My FI said he thought it was weird. He said “What am I suppose to do with them? Look at them twenty years from now and compare how your body was back then? Seriously I would rather you pose for me in the flesh than have some pointless picture to keep around.”

He said sure, he would like seeing them, but they probably wouldn’t be anything he would look at more than a couple times in his life. It didn’t really make the pricetag worth it.

I have a session scheduled for August and am excited/nervous about it!  I’m still in the process of shopping for my lingerie 😉

The only thing, though, is that my initial idea was to give my FI the album as a groom’s gift for our wedding next year.  Don’t brides and grooms typically exchange gifts by sending it to the other while getting ready on the wedding day?  (Or am I totally off)?  I often see photos of brides or grooms reading a card or opening a gift from their S/O while getting ready.  The thing is, I REALLY do not want the groomsmen to see my gift when it is presented to my FI.  It’s such a personal thing!  What are my options?  Exchange gifts before or after instead?

But in short, I am all for the boudoir shoots.  It sounds like fun! =D
