I was thinking of doing this too…I would love to hear what other bees have to say!

I did this.  I gave my husband his boudoir album the night before our wedding.  It was an absolute blast.  It made me feel so sexy.  He LOVED it!

Darling Husband is the type of guy who can afford to buy anything he wants so there really wasn’t anything that he wanted that I could’ve given him. That’s what made me think of boudoir photos.

I had a good experience and went with someone who specialized in it. She also took care of hair and makeup and had her own studio. I really like the portfolio she had online and she made me feel very comfortable and told me how to pose and whatnot. Generally speaking, almost all of the photos turned out great and I was really happy with them. I would shop around and not just pick the first person you find or the cheapest because she was neither the first or the cheapest but she and I had the best “connection” via phone and email.

It also helps to think that it’s like wearing a lacy bikini. You don’t have to be in just your birthday suit. Definitely tell the photographer what areas you are uncomfortable with and what makes you feel self-conscious. If there’s ever a time to be candid and honest, now is the time!

I haven’t done my boudoir shoot yet, but it’s in two weeks! My fiance doesn’t “need” anything, so I tried to come up with something he couldnt just buy. I’m using a photographer who specializes it boudoir and has her own studio just for this. My friend did it for her husband, and she said it was a great experience. here’s hoping he loves it!

I have mine TOMORROW!  Fiance is very excited for them…although they’re really for me as much as for him (yeah he already knows about them, but he won’t get to see them until September).  Hair and makeup is included and I’m happy that mine are in the AM (made sure to get one early!) so I’m going to just not eat anything until I’m done….

I’m not really a fan of them. Fi thinks its silly too. His thought is I why get pics when I have the real thing every night.

I did my boudoir shoot about a week ago. I am a shy person, but I had so much fun! It is important to find a quality photographer. I do recommend the experience, and the photographer showed me some shots along the way, so I know they will turn out amazing.
