Well… my first Question would be…

Does the Photographer have Boudoir Photo Experience ?? (is it listed on their Website as a service offered ?)

THAT in my mind would make a ton of difference in my decision.  I think that Boudoir Photography is pretty specific… and not something I’d want just anyone to do (be they a professional photographer or not)

Hope this helps,

I’m not sure I can answer the questions for you. You know your fiance best and if he will like it or be weirded out by it. Personally, my Fiance and I really don’t see the point of boudoir pics. If your Fiance is in this boat then I’d say don’t do it. If he’s a fan of boudoir pics then go for it.  Will the pics even be ready to give to him by the wedding?  If not, then if you do them he won’t even know until after and won’t be weirded out by the whole photographer seeing you half naked thing.  Maybe you guys could swap out for an anniversary shoot or something else post-wedding if you aren’t sold on boudoir pics.

I did boudoir photos and gave them to Darling Husband on our wedding night, so he wouldn’t be thinking about it on the wedding day with the photographer there. Our photographer said he never brings it up, so it was on my terms. Turns out, it didnt bug Darling Husband at all, and now he wants the same guy to do our newborn photos when our little one arrives. BUT, we had discussed boudoir photos in the abstract once, so I knew he would be ok with it.
