It's me again! The boudoir photos nyc post made me curious. What are your favorite boudoir photographers (male and female) in OC/LA? Have any of my fellow SoCal Brides taken boudoir photos? I'm thinking of taking some...
Check this website out. Althought I'm not doing boudoir shots myself, this photographer Danielle is shooting my wedding and she's amazing. She can make all her photographs look like a work of art.
i was JUST doing boudior photo research last night!!!!! i emailed a bunch of photog in the LA/OC area! i'm wondering if we can get all the girls together and do collective bargaining for a good rate?
I think Skye Blue is very popular for boudior photos. My-coworker had them done w/them, but it was just too expensive for me. I think it is about $1k so I never even bothered contacting them!!! I can't blow that kind of money with the wedding around the corner.
Clessy00, I'm all for that. I've got an incredible photographer that I contacted for rates, but I'm waiting. I'll definitely update everyone. If we need to rent a hotel room or a location for the shoot though, we could definitely all team up, decide on a spot and split the costs. I mean, say we want a super nice hotel suite to take our photos in and it costs like $300, even if we just had the 3 of us, that would cut costs down to $100!!! I'm liking this idea. Everyone keep in touch. PM me for my email and cell if you'd like.
OOH this is going to be cool!!!! SoCalBride, I'll PM you w/ my email (and so should everyone else who's interested in teaming up). I'm in the process of gathering info on pricing. I'll share that w/ everyone through SoCalBride!
Hi Ladies, I was just admiring boudoir photos on Christine Farah and Trista Lerit's blogs. I think they are reasonably priced, although I'm not TOO sure. Their work looks really good though!
So I looked up some hotel pics and I think the Viceroy and the Mondrian are the ones that alot of ads and videos are shot at. I'm prety sure the Viceroy is where Rihanna' "Hate that I love you" was filmed and it is super sexxy! Just a thought.
Everyone, I am so excited! I think this is going to work out really well. I am getting married July 2008 so I'm thinking sometime in the spring for the photo shoot. We'll definitely figure out something that will work for everyone though. Thus far, everyone who has PMed me is getting married during the summer season. If anyone else out there is from the LA/OC area, or doesn't mind commuting, please contact me if you want in!
Yes this is definitely so exciting! I can't believe that so many girls want in. First, we should all thank SoCalBride for starting up the boudior talk. I emailed her two boudiro photographers' info, so if you have a specific photographer that you like, please share with everyone. Also, I think once we have a list of names, we should plan a get-together so we can meet before the photo session.
Ha, ha, we should each do our own private shoot. But we HAVE to do at least one photo together looking all glam. I think it'd be adorable and uplifting. I'm one of those women who feels empowered by nudity. There's just something so natural about it. One of my favorite photos of all time is the one of Sofia Loren with her baby in a bath. And everyone, I think it would still work out great even if we want to use different photographers. Half of us may end up with, one person, the other half with another due to factors such as taste, cost, etc. But I think we can all work something out to save money, save time and have a great time! The location, at least, I'm sure we can all settle on.

Christine Farah (click on Glam Dolls) : www.itsjustsillyme.blogspot.com
Trista Lerit (I think you have to search for the boudoir shots, but here is the link to one directly: http://tristalerit.blogspot.com/2007/03/hot-hot-hot.html)
Hope this helps!
