I've thought about having them done, but my FI is wierd...he loves bright crazy colors. You know those neon striped toe socks that go up your calves? Totally sexy to him! He really doesn't care for the "normal" black sexy styles.
So, if I do boudoir pics, I'll likely buy one really bright patterned bra/panties set, and wear some striped socks.
The other outfit would be undies and a button down shirt. Most guys love seeing a girl in their dress shirts, I guess.
Then, I would definately do something really flirty/frilly.
I agree, I am not brave enough to go nakey, but I'd probably do topless with strategic poses to cover at least part of me.
Um, and I must say, that Provovateur set is hot! I need one! lol
So my photographer just sent me an email about doing this. I'm very self conscious because I had a baby in 2006 and want to cover the stomach area. I want to do the session so badly but would feel weird being mostly covered. This is a good board, i could use some ideas that would keep me covered and still look sexy!!!
@ashco, what about a sexy slip and garters set? That would keep your middle covered but still be super-sexy. Also, maybe an underwear set with a sheer nightie?
Is there a piece of clothing of his that he wears all the time? Dress shirt, football jersey, tie, etc.? I've seen those incorporated before.
If you're nervous about exposing too much skin, maybe bring a silky robe/dressing gown-- that way, you can uncover/cover yourself as much as you feel comfortable, during the shots.
Also, don't forget about sexy shoes and accessories!
I know that a lot of girls do an outfit change into a jersey of a team their FI likes. Some I've also seen do a costume like a sexy nurse. I considered it but I'm not comfortable with my own body quite yet... maybe for a future v-day though!

AshCo, you can find a lot of great lingerie that will mask your tummy area, and still look sexy. How about a corset? Usually they are longer, and then it would also give you a smokin' hourglass figure! Fredericks of Hollywood has some really gorgeous stuff like that.
Even taking pictures lying in bed could work. have your photographer take pictures with the sheets strategically placed to hide things your aren't comfortable with. Photographers are experienced in taking pics from angles that will look great.
Also, my FI loves those babydoll type outfits with the sheer material from bodice to hips, with matching panties. Even though they're sheer over the tummy, you really wouldn't see many flaws.
I don't know if you're self conscious due to weight around the belly or what, but if there are stretch marks, keep in mind that a good photographer will be able to edit those out!
Go for it! I'm not a slim chicken (UK 12-14, about 155lbs!) but am doing it. I have never been so scared in my life. I have paid my deposit now so there is no getting out of it. I am the sort of person who won't even go swimming at the local pool with friends as they will see me in swimwear. If we have an overnight stay with work at a place with a pool, I always "accidentally" forget to pack my swim suit.
Flip flop bride- ooohh--- good idea with the shirt and panties. I might take one of his shirts with. I could do it in place of the cami panties or the normal bra set.
I would never sell my soul and wear HIS football team's tshirt. Never ever ever!!!!
As for footwear- I will be wearing my highest black court shoes (about 4.5" tall) as they help make your legs look taller and thinner, plus DF has a thing for them too 
I'm doing them in April. I have the option to change into 6 outfits so I'm having a hard time deciding. I know for sure one outfit will be a garter belt, tights and a bar (god help me, I need to go to the gym), another one will probably be some kind of lingerie. But then I want to be creative. My FI wears a suit and tie everyday so I was thinking of stealing one of his favorite button downs and a tie and using that. Also, he loves basketball so I'd like to use one as a prop. The others, I have no idea. Hope that helps a little!
I never did them for my wedding but I have tons of those pics because my H is a photog. I have a whole port of them. lol. I love it. Ill be modeling soon, thanks to them also. I say go for it, its such an amazing experience. I like the pantie no top look, implied nude. Have fun and good luck.
Just a few things to keep in mind ladies. Remember, about stretch marks and other imperfections, they can usually be easily removed with Photoshop. At least, greatly diminished. As for tummy issues, with a bulge or such, just lay on your back for some photos. The tummy usually goes way down. Problem is, so do the breasts, but most of you are keeping those covered anyway.
I will describe a great pose idea that you can do, which can be done with clothing or without, and either way, it's super sexy and seductive, and it doesn't even show any "naughty bits". Very tasteful, yet very seductive. ---Basically, get down as if you were going to do push-ups on your knees. Palms on the ground. Face the photographer (who needs to be at ground level with the camera). Drop down as if doing a push-up, but face forward, not looking down. Your face will be beutifully right in front of the camera, as the main focus. If you go topless, but don't want to show it ALL, just drop low enough with yoru chest that the floor is covering what you want to hide. Your tushy will still be way up high, and will almost invariable look awesome from this angle, as the photographer is in front of you. If possible, have an electric fan placed in front of you, blowing your hair a little bit. Very dramatic. --So there you have it! This is a super cool pose. Even if done totally nude, you don't have to show anything. It also looks GREAT with just panties, lingerie or such.
The reasons I share this pose idea is because it's so flattering for so many women, it works with clothing or without, and it's very good eye candy for a man.
Also, about going nekkid. Trust me, the worst part of it is the fear itself. Almost all women who do don the birthday suit say that once they did it, they were pretty much exhilarated, liberated, and within 5 minutes didn't really even remember they are nude.
But if you go that far, and you have a man who would be very jealous once he sees them, plan to bring a friend to the shoot with you, and be sure the photog shoots a couple photos of you and the friend together in the studio or hotel, wherever you shoot. Aquire the photos of the friend with you, so you have proof. hehe
I had more than 3 outfits...if you are worried about your tummy, I wore my wedding longline bra as one of my outfits...it was super cute...plus, when I laid down in it, my b**bs looked awesome, and I looked nekked but wasn't. I also brought a ton of fun props...my hubby is a drummer, so in one shot it looks like I'm only wearing a cymbal, lol, but I had undies on underneath!
I actually found, for my not tiny figure, that the more covered ones were sexier in a subtle way.

I am planning on trying to find a nice robe or vintage robe. I think I will also use FI's Cavs jersey and one of his dress shirts. I also need to buy some fun lingerie which will be interesting because I have never really done that!
What accesories are you ladies bringing?
For mine, I think I'm going to wear FI's Red Wings jersey for one. As for everything else, I'm not sure, maybe some more "bridal" lingerie (thinking lacy, white corset and garter) for one and some more "bad girl" stuff for another (thinking black...that's about as far as I've gotten).
I think what you have is really great, a lot of variation in the styles. I agree if you aren't comfortable with certain areas let your photog know. They can work magic with angles and props.
Mrs Sprinkles post is awesome! I love the heels and stockings shot. So simple yet foxy!
I know I have bad skin on my body- stretch marks, iffy patches from eczema, scars, but that ain't bothering me as I know they can photoshop the lot off!
I kinda wanted to do something like this, but am really not comfortable with my body. Now that I am married,if I were to lose about 50 pounds or so, this might be a fun valentines or anniversary gift for him.
These are some of the things we can do to get rid of or hide problem areas.
We can also make improvements in Photoshop to make images pop. I like my work to look a bit like a painting. I'm not sure why some photos showed up and others you have to click on the link to see.

Is anybody booked in for boudoir pics? Have you had a thought about what you are/ aren't
going to wear? I am not brave enough to go naked!
I can take 3 changes so thought I would go for a selection of underwear.
I was going to get a normal everyday bra set, maybe something like this
and then a vest top and pants set like this
And finally. DF bought me this Agent Provacateur set in black for Christmas. I have the suspender panties, not the thong.
