I just wanted to quickly share my story. That sometimes the gamble pays off! I bought my dress off an ad from WeddingBee Classifieds. It took a week from my initial inquiry email until I received my dress. The dress was a discontinued sample from a bridal store.
I knew my measurements and that ivory was a better color than white for my skin tone. I had only been shopping at David’s Bridal one time before this. The store provided me with measurements and full disclosure of the condition of the dress (1 missing button, clean hem). I did online research on the bridal store to better understand who I was purchasing from and was pleased with the positive reviews. However, I had never tried on this style or dresses by this designer.
I decided to go for it!
The dress arrived and fits like a dream. I was able to get a fabulous deal and bought a lot nicer dress than I thought I could afford.
Not all online experiences are the same, but I wanted to share my positive dress search for others considering doing the same. Unfortunately I don’t have a full length mirror in my house, so we’ll have to settle for a picture taken in the mirror on the stairs.
