How do you know they bought you a gift?
Maybe they bought it and changed their mind about giving it. Personally, I'd treat it as a non-gift until received.
Give them some time to send the gift along, and if it starts getting too late for you just send them a thank you for attending.
Well since you got it today, you can go ahead and send a thank you. :)

We have one guest who we KNOW bought us a gift, but on the day of forgot it. We haven't received it yet and don't want to put pressure on the givers to send it but I want to make sure we get a Thank You out to them in a timely manner. How should I word the Thank You or should we wait until we receive it?
Thanks hive!
