Beautiful! Yeah I agree, bridal sizing is whack! Its all over the place.
yay we have the same dress, dress sizing is wacked i was a size 2 in all bridal stores and they didnt have any anyway lol and i ordered a size 4 and its tight , crazy
love the dress so much

@claireos: & @suzieq80: Beautiful dress choice!
I HATE wedding gown sizing!!! I am normally a 5/6 in clothing... I purchased my first gown, an Allure, in a size 8 and it fit me nearly perfectly. I found a Maggie Sottero dress that I loved even more, and bought a sample from a seller on WeddingBee. I got a size 8 thinking that I was a size 8 in bridal... and the Maggie is easily a size or two large (I could have fit into a 4 or 6 better). Uhg. <end of rant>
@claireos: OMG I LOVE THIS DRESS!!!! It was the gown I always wanted, but the sleeves looked a little weird on me. I'm curvy but very small on top so it was too much fabric on my chest/shoulders. I can't WAIT to see it on you (from the front as well). This dress is just so romantic and lovely! So excited for you!!

I've never been a girly girly girl and the thought of wedding gowns never really made my pulse race. So, preengagement I looked and looked and looked and looked online and barely had more than a "eh, I guess that could work" reaction to anything I saw online. Had an appt last week at a local bridal shop and this was literally the 1st gown I put my hands on. I tried on others for the sake of trying them, but it was like I was drawn to it. :)
On another note was surprised to see bridal sizing was so variable. In real life I'm a 00 or 0. At David's Bridal I was a 0, needing alterations, but at this boutique I went to I was an 8 needing alterations. I guess I was surprised that David's Bridal hadn't stuck with typical bridal sizing.Has that always been the case with them? Have they always stuck to more mainstream sizing trends?
Without further adieu (sorry for the super crappy cell pic from my not so smart phone...and the clips...and the bra...I'm a mess;) -
