I was convinced that I was going to buy my dress from dressilyme. In fact, I had a dress in mind that I loved and was no longer being made and WANTED IT! Instead of just ordering, I decided to try on a few dresses and see what sihlouette I loved, just to make sure I wasn’t wasting my money.
Anyways, I loved Sophia Tolli’s work, so went to a very small boutique to try on her line. I must say, I almost laughed when we pulled up to a HOUSE in the middle of nowhere, but it was amazing! The store was great and the ladies were helpful.
I tried on a few dresses and learned that I loved dropped waist gowns, and then I tried on the Alba. I almost cried, but held back, cause, well, my family isn’t an emotional family. Had I cried, they likely would have been very uncomfortable. Anyways, I loved it! I couldn’t take it off and when I put it back on at the end I felt my heart flutter. I knew it was the one, despite the fact it had NOTHING I thought that I wanted haha!
I don’t have a ton of pictures, or any great pics, but here’s what I do have! Enjoy 🙂
