I plan to use about 3 dozen flowers total for mine. I counted at least 25 roses in your first inspiration pic. I would reconsider the 12…

Based on that top picture, I’d definitely go with 18. Just in looking at that bouquet and doing a quick count, you can tell it’s made with a LOT of roses. So, if you’re going for that big bouquet, I’d go with 18.

I’d go with 18 or even more.  12 does not sound like a lot at all.  My BMs bouquet had 8 or 10 and purple statice and that was definitely small.

I agree with PP. If those are your inspirational pictures, I would definitely go with way more than 12. I’ve seen bouquets of 12 at the store and they are tiny – probably 8″ across or so without filler/greenery.

If you want a bouquet like the top photo, it’s going to be heavy, especially if you are not the type that works out constantly (like me!). Mine was at least that size and fullness and it was heavier than everyone expected. That said, you don’t spend all day carrying it everywhere and if you have a MOH, she can help out too.

@pppuser852:  +1.  When I was considering an all-rose bouquet, the floral designer recommended three dozen roses.  Although I was concerned that it would be too heavy (and I later went with peonies instead), I think 12 would be too sparse.

I had a similar all-white bouquet and my wonderful friend/florist used about 24 roses in it. I’d suggest going with 18 or more roses, especially if you’re not mixing in any other white flowers. And honestly, it wasn’t that heavy; you’re only going to be carrying it for photos, up and down the aisle, and getting to your seats at the reception. After that, it does this:

@FutureMrsCooke:  Yep, it has between 22 and 24 white and creamroses, a few white lisianthus, and a few white ranunculus, plus the greenery and berries.
