@alevesque2000:

Sorry to repeat but I just mentioned in another post that you can buy spray paint in the floral department of your local craft stores in almost every color.  We also need blue for our wedding and of course blue flowers are hard to come by…thus the paint.  Solved our problem for boutonnniers.  I sprayed some silk white flowers and fresh white mums for a test and they came out beautiful.  The fresh flowers were sprayed almost a week ago and still look terrific.  You can spray them lightly or heavy depending on the look you want.  I know that florists do this too.

@applehilluser:  FYI, if you plan to use floral spray paint, check for colorfastness before getting the flowers anywhere near a wedding dress or a rented suit. Also, the spray will get all over your hands while working with the flowers, so you’ll want to wear gloves or plan your manicure if you’re getting one for after you’re finished doing flower arranging. 🙂

I would personally go with real flowers especially in blue. I haven’t seen too many silk blue flowers that look good.

Here are a few blue/ivory inspiration pics that might help give you some ideas

I think all of these below are gorgeous!

Roses, hydrangeas and stephanotis might look nice. 🙂

Then here are other ideas

I really like your colors but you should definately add something to the bouquets to dress it up a bit.  Throw in some light pink and lavender flowers, or add dimension with different types of fillers.   I did a quick pinterest search and like this one…
