- Wedding: August 2011 - Blossom Heath
I grew up in a single parent household so as a kid I spent alot of time with my 8 first cousins and my grandparents. So naturally my grandfather is the only real example of a father figure that I have ever had but he passed away 3 years ago from complications from heart surgery after a heart attack. Which of course really hurts me because he won’t be there to walk me down the aisle or give me away at my wedding. Over the course of our relationship I had grown very close to Mr. B’s grandfather who unfortunately passed away last summer so it feels like my grandfather and father are gone in both aspects.
So I write all that to say I had the idea that I would/could place small pictures of both of them on either side of my bouquet so that my grandfather could still walk me down the aisle and his grandfather could still be there.
Does anyone have any idea on how I could get the pictures to be small enough to go on the bouquet (like the size of a quarter) and not look tacky or pointless. These are what I want my flowers to look like.
