Our minister is a friend of the family and we got a boutonnière for him.
I don't think it's necessary, but we gave our officiants bouts. They were family, and may have ended up in the wedding party as ushers if they weren't performing the ceremony :)

So i was wondering.. does the officiant also get a bout? he and his wife are friends of the family. I thought that he would but my mom doesn't know if it is necessary. I ask because I made them for my FI and groomsmen and know that I have my dad and grandpa left and thinking of giving up and ordering the rest from the florist.
