Today’s task is settling on flowers and the florist is asking how many boutonnieres we’ll need. Should I get some for our ring bearers too (ages 2 and 4)? I’m worried they’ll stick themselves with pins or rose thorns, so I’m leaning towards no.
If they don’t have boutonnieres, can you think of some other way to set them apart from the other little boys at the wedding?

we got them boutonnieres, although we went with a more resliant flower than the roses, they are having mini carnations instead and i wouldn’t worry about them poking themselves if it is put on the lapel of their jacket

I’m pro boutonnieres for them personally.

Our Ring Bearer had a bout. It was small and he didn’t screw around with it at all. As soon as the ceremony was over he had his tux jacket off anyway.

I’ll go for it, I’d just make a fun version, or maybe something smaller like pinkdaisies said.
