We think our guy has some boxer in him.  He is for sure a mix, probably of a handful of breeds, but his build and behavior is very boxer-like.

See he’s even laying the same way as the other pic.  I don’t have a picture right now of his face right-side up, but his head is very boxer shaped just with a longer snout.

His name is Det. Lt. John McClane, or just McClane for short.  He’s 2 years old and his hobbies include annoying his older sister (as you can see), being floppy, hugging people, and being a big ball of energy.

@MichiganGirl24:  He’s a cutie! My pup does the tootsie roll too but we call it the boogie- trying to teach her to do it on command… NOt sure what breed our pooch is, her name is Scarlett, we adopted her from the local shelter when she was 2 yrs old & she is now 8. The said she was a boxer mix, but were thinking also american bulldog (similar statute & she snorts like crazy) maybe… She will literally have a conversation with you with nothing but snorts & grunts!

Sidney is 2 years old and she’s a mess. She’s really sweet and mostly calm when we are at home, but get her around other people and she’s a crazy maniac that wants to jump all over you! Most often she can be found in the recliner in various strange positions.

She does a great derp face that will always make me laugh.

And she loves her kitten. Well, he used to be a kitten. Not so much anymore!

@MichiganGirl24:  Sidney lays on her back and lets her jowls flap like that too. FI always catches her. Must be a boxer thing. Weirdos!

@MichiganGirl24:  When did Hank stop growing? Our boxer puppy is 14 months old and we are hoping he gets a bit bigger. He’s only about 65 pounds right now and he seems so small to me!

Here is my boxer Auger! He just turned 2 in September and I think he’s still growing! He’s just a touch over 62lbs now. We got him when he was 11 weeks old from another young couple that didn’t have time for him.

Auger is so full of character I don’t know where to start! He climbs trees to chase squirrels, eats more vegetables out of our garden than most adults would, loves to attack the hose, gets really lovey when one of us is sick or down and best of all if you close the bedroom door and he’s not in the room with you, he’ll snort under the door until you let him in! I want to get another boxer so badly but I’m afraid he’d get jealous. And then again, I don’t think I’d have enough energy for TWO of them!

@Cummins59:  We are going to get a second one. Your little guy looks like he has more of a snout than a typical boxer! I wonder if he snores less than my little guy 😛

@MichiganGirl24:  He is neutered and I can definitely see the benefits of having a smaller boxer. My husband wanted a big one though. My brother has a boxer who is almost 90 pounds of muscle and that’s what we were hoping for. However, we ended up with a little lap dog who still likes his mama to pick him up, lol. I love him so much and wouldn’t trade him for anything though 🙂

@MichiganGirl24:  Auger looks so big to me! I wish, lol. I prefer floppy ears I can kiss them. I love my little man’s ears 😀
