So I had one of my first fittings last night with the lady who is doing my alterations. Luckily it doesn’t need much altering, but once I took my bra off – the cups that are in the dress made me look like I had perpendicular boobs (it’s a v-neck dress) with how the top is built. I don’t have much to begin with in that area, so it got me really sad. I had always tried it on with a strapless bra, and never saw any issues – obviously with no bra is the issue!
After I met with her, I went to Kohl’s with my mom and tried on some bras that could be sewn in, and just went with one to get for now. I’m not sure where else to look, besides bridal salons where I’m sure these things aren’t cheap.
I am small chested and just need something to fill the area, as it looked fine with my normal strapless bra, but I can’t wear that with my dress.

I had the same problem as you the cups the salon sewed in were not doing anything for me at all. I’m a c cup but without a proper bra I look so flat chested and didn’t want to look flat for my wedding
I bought two strapless backless push up bras for my wedding. They have sticky wings at the side to keep them on. One was from maiden form and I love it. I still wear it now. The one I wore for my wedding was I believe by fashion forms. It had lots of padding and push up. You can buy them at nieman Marcus. Just don’t get the one that’s all silacon and stick on with the clip in the middle. They’re terrible.

gonatgo: The one I got does have sticky wings, and an underwire… so it may be similiar! I can’t remember the brand though. I just know I need something, otherwise that area is going to look pretty sad!
baileyjosephine: Thanks! I forgot the Jo-Ann’s carries that stuff. I’ll have to check out my local store.
