I found a long line low backed bra at the Lauren Silva group online. Ultimately I decided to go without, as it worked with my dress and I felt really claustrophobic that day... but i did find a nice workable one there :)
i tried on a few, and eventually chose the wacoal bustier. what's nice is that except for the bra cups, it's made of a mesh material and is very light and comfortable to wear. i bought mine at a specialty lingerie shop, where a consultant helps each customer.
when i was researching online i saw a lot of people talking about the felina bustier. i tried it on but it was uncomfortable for me.
everyone's different though! i suggest going to a department store and trying on as many as you can tolerate. if there is a consultant to help you, even better!
oh, i also considered wearing nubra--the silicone-ish type cups.
VS has a pretty nice non-boned longline bra. It's pretty comfy and gets a thumbs up from me for being a pushup bra. lol One of the bees blogged about buying one.
It was Miss Nachos! http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/12/14/pampering-the-twins-1/
My tailor is sewing padding directly into my strapless dress, which is a lot more comfortable than having a another layer added to the layers of the dress. It looks great & pushes up!
