My dress is made of charmeuse and shows every lump and bump. It also has a low cowl backline.

I have been having a very hard time finding a bra. The bras that are seamless are not low enough in the back, and the bras that are low in the back tend to create unsightly bumps and lines. Sewn in cups don't work either, and I'm leery about sticky bras...had a very embarrassing experience once.

That's the dress. Does anyone know of a solution for this issue?

Ooh! That's tricky. Have you tried something like this? The style number is Dominique 8541.

My seamstress built in cups for a bra, would that be an option for you?

there's this bra from fredericks...you can wrap the strap around such that it's very low in the back.  would something like that work?  i think VS makes something similar but i couldn't find it.  another option would be one of those self-adhesive cup bras that have NO back or straps (like this one, but you can get them pretty much anywhere...i've even seen them at jc penney!).

another option...if you can hack it, lol (i know i couldn't!)...would be to go braless and get those seamless adhesive "petal" thingies to cover your nipples so they don't show.  would take some cojones though!

I feel your pain on this one, girl. Embarassed

I hate to say it, but I don't think that Dominque bra is going to work for you! The back of your dress is too low.

I guess I would try a few types of adhesive bras and hope you can find one you're comfortable with. If that doesn't work, I honestly don't know what to suggest.  Maybe just keep looking for a low, low, LOW back bra.

Good luck! I hope it works out for you.

Is there some way you could have a lining sewn in so that it would be possible to wear a low backed bra without ugly lines showing through the dress?  It doesn't seem like the back of your dress is THAT low, but I can see how the fabric would be a problem.
