@musician32992:  Most of my awesome deals are flights. I flew from Japan to New Zealand for $550, and Japan to Malaysia return for $120.

Since all of our money has been going to wedding crap lately, most of my deals have been DIY related.

One I’m particularly proud of is my bouquet. I was planning to order this gorgeous, artificial bouquet online for about $250 pre tax. Then, 2 weekends ago, we were strolling through Hobby Lobby and I found the *same brand* of real-touch flowers on sale for .98/each.

So now, my bouquet with the same amount of the flowers of the same brand *might* cost me $30 🙂

My best deals are all wedding related too. There was a fur shawl at David’s Bridal for $120, I bought one off ebay for $15! I think mine looks nicer than the one at David’s too.

I am using a cardbox I found on Etsy for inspiration with my DIY cardbox. The one on Etsy was $130, mine is costing me under $15!

All of mine are DIY too, custom cake topper $15, pocketfold invites $2.89 each (including postage, inserts, inner and outer envelopes), wedding programs for free, thank you postcards for free, centerpieces less than $5 per table (including tealights and luminaries), fresh flowers $320, etc.

I got a pair of never been worn leather saddle shoes for $2.50. Plus, brand new jeans for $8.50. I love the discount overstock stores around me. 🙂

Most of my bargains lately have been wedding related but I’ll play:

1.  My Maggie Sottero Milana gown was $1050 retail, I paid $299 on clearance!

2. Because my FMIL is the seamstress at the bridal store I used to work at, all of my regular alterations on my clothes and those on my wedding gown are absolutely free including any custom work like extra beading and changing the back of the dress.

3. I’ve been debating between real or fake flowers, my mom found a deal at Costco on 10 bouquets for $99! I will be adding some other flowers to fill it in but it’s a great start.
