Hey dont feel bad i was in the same boat for 5 years! i got engaged last month, and have seen many couples meet, date, engaged, and married withing that time. very frustrating! and my FI put two fo those couples together!!!
As soon as you stop fretting/worrying it will come, just try not to think about it anymore!
Welcome! I'm in the same boat as far as friends' engagements go. Two couples that we helped to get together recently got married and I'm still waiting on my ring. It's frustrating but every couple is different and it happens on different timelines (or so I tell myself so I feel better!)
Anyway, I'm fairly new here but I can tell you that I LOVE it - in fact, my bf calls me obsessed. It's great and I'm sure you'll love it too!
So glad you decided to jump in... all the girls on the waiting boards have been waiting a varying amount of time, so we all feel ya there! Don't worry, we're here to vent to, and most importantly, to get excited for and with you! Welcome!

Hi everyone!
I've been creeping on the boards for a while and finally decided to join tonight.
I've been dating BF for a little over 2 1/2 years and (not very) patiently waiting on the ring. I bug him far too much about it, but we've been seriously talking about it for over a year and I think I'm going to go crazy!
To make matters worse, 4 friends have recently gotten engaged and all of them have been with their BFs for less than half the amount of time as we have (I know that shouldn't really matter...just hard to swallow). I feel like a crazy person and have to force myself to be excited for them because I'm in 2 of the weddings!
Everyone here seems so supportive and wonderful, it's great!
