Welcome to the Hive and I hope that you are staying safe.
For shoes I would go with flats or sandals, heals would just sink in the sand unless you are having a walkway. For the hair, can we see the dress. It is easier to make a recommendation in combination with the dress.
I love this footwear idea for a beach wedding:

Thanks, trying to stay safe! :)
I'm a little late with the dress due to this crazy year we've been having but I do have a style picked (Megan Fox's Armani Prive, attached) and will be seeing a tailor about it soon enough :)
I'm guessing wedge heels would look alright for this style, too..

Ahhhh yeah those barefoot sandals are GORGEOUSSSS! Just need to figure out how to get them delivered here!
@KMsBride: Those would be easy to make for someone who know about beading. Maybe your dressmaker could recommend someone, or maybe they could do it.
@KMsBride: Also, There are also a few jewelry makers on etsy in Egypt, you could contact one of them to see if they can make it for you.
@MrsNerdy: Hey fellow Austin Bee! Yea those are gorgeous.
@KMsBride: For this dress and a beach wedding I think a loose curly updo would look perfect, with the wind blowing through the curls around your face but still nicely secured.

If I find someone to make them, I'll have them made for my MOH & BMs too :) Thanks for the tip!
@ErinCC: LOVE IT!!!!!! Also works cuz my hair's naturally wavy :)
@KMsBride: And in place of those flowers you could wear a jeweled hair comb or another kind of flowers. :)
By the way welcome to the bee!
I just figured out there's a "reply" button...
@ErinCC: Thanks! And thanks for all the great tips! The jeweled hair comb will hold in the wind even better ^__^
The barefoot sandals are an easy DIY. Here's a tutorial:

Interesting! Except that bride was nice enough to make them for all her BMs...I'm probably gonna assign this task to one of them haha ("and while you're at it, make one for all the female guests!" - J/K :D)
But yeah, looks simple enough :) Thank you!

So hive, I'm officially a few minutes old on this blog but I've been following it and I love that it's still quite relevant to an Egyptian bride-to-be, like myself, residing in "Revolutionary Cairo" :)
My questions are: What footwear are you planning on wearing to your destination/ beach wedding? And for hair, do you recommend a semi updo? I'm thinking with all the wind, it might fall apart and look too messy.. Anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks :)
