I would really love to go on the episode of Oprah where people get fitted for the proper bra. I think I have to part ways with Victoria because she isn't doing anything for me anymore.

What do you ladies 36 D and above find to be the most comfortable bra to wear?

I hate walmarts bras. I'm a DD and it's tough for me to find cute bras without spending a fortune. Lane Bryant seems to be the obvious place to go, but they are expensive. They do have sales though, buy 2 get 2 free. They can run you between $28-$40 each so the sale is a great way to stock up and save.

I'm a 32GG and love the Whimsy line, by Lunaire. I can get away with a 34 DD-DDD in their stuff. They're supportive, super-pretty (read: no grandma straps!) and cost about $30/bra. More than Walmart bras, yes, but way less than I used to have to spend on them! They're sold at most department stores I think...

Go to Nordstroms!  Right now! :)  Seriously though, they are really really knowledgeable about fitting people properly for bras.  I'm a 36F so I definitely have experience in the ill-fitting, uncomfortable, unsupportive bra arena.

I'd heard such good things about Nordstroms that I finally caved recently and went and got fitted for new bras and my bras have seriously never been more comfortable and supportive in my life.  I got three different types (and they had tons of other options too) and mine ranged from $55-$70 each.  Totally worth it to have properly fitted, supportive bras!

I'm a 36DD, and like you, Victoria's Secret does not work for me. I really like the Paramour brand at Macy's. They're only about $30-35 each and I always wait for the buy one get one sale.

I'm a 32DD and love many of the VC bras.
