That's not a bad idea. I am having buffet too and am worried about the tables that need to wait. A server could probably walk around pretty quickly and drop off a basket at each table.
We will have the salads on the tables when the guests first sit down. They can munch on that during the speechs and while waiting for the buffet.
I think the bread sticks are a good idea too!

How does everyone feel about having something to munch on while (i.e. breadsticks, etc.) guests wait for the buffet service?
