I am hosting a bridal shower for my sister in August and I am looking for Breakfast at Tiffany's themed ideas/suggestions. Has anyone done this before?

Martha Stewart threw a wedding like this last year.... it was on the Today show, but I can't find pics..

Hi! I would go onto the Martha Stewart website. She did a Today Throws A Wedding not too long ago and the theme was Breakfast at Tiffany's (because it actually was a Tiffany's). Its sorta where I got my color scheme. Good luck!

I love the Martha Stewart wedding! That is where we got the idea from! Her items are a little pricey, we are looking for more DIY ideas.

@dannyb Thanks for the website!

So far, we are doing a Tiffany box cake, my future brother in law is trying tp photo shop my sister into a blown up version of the movie poster, we have tiffany favor boxes, and we are copying the Martha wedding and setting up a photo area with lots of pealrs and big sunglasses.

The favor boxes are tiny, not too sure what to put inside them.

Anyone have any ideas for invitation wording? That is the hardest part! I want something clever/related ot the movie.

@ the Martha Stewart reply: The theme was "Legendary New York," and they created backdrops using enlarged photos of the city from previous Tiffany advertisements, like Central Park and the Brooklyn Bridge. Here are more pictures:

Favor boxes: blue and white jellybellies fit nicely in small spaces.

Wording: that IS tough. Maybe a quote from Moon River?

We decided on m&m's for the favor boxes...now we are on to the rest of the decor! I found some awesome Tiffany inspired invites, I may need ot figure out how to DIY. I'll have to keep you updated, any other ideas are more than welcome!

I went to a Breakfast at Tiffany's Shower. They had it at 10am so we had brunch type food. Then the colors were the Tiffany blue. They went to the dollar store and bought the fake diamond paper weights and used those all over the tables and food lines. Very cute and they are cheap. They had a cake made to look like a Tiffany's ring box... very cute! They had champange in real champange glasses with raspberries floating in them and handed them to us as we walked in the door. It gave the shower a glam feel! They also gave away the luggage tags that are Tiffany blue as a game prize. Oriental Trading company has some fake diamond jewel napkin holders. You could use those for something!
