We watched it at FI’s dad’s house – the Jesse/Todd thing – if we’d be at home I’d have been screaming so hard!!!

Spoilers below… but why are you reading this if you haven’t watched the finale?

So good! The lasers on Elliot and Gretchen was so awesomely badass. I didn’t see Lydia and the ricin coming, I thought it was for anyone else. Basically… great finale. Much better than Dexter!

I hate Lydia— I think she is the only character I have never had a rollercoaster relationship with. Just hated her from day one. She is so damn annoying. Good for Walt. her and her G-d damn stevia. Ugh

The Elliot and Gretchen thing was the most brilliant thing I have ever witnessed.

I love breaking bad, but after watching the final episode I cannot help but feel like something was missing. It was all wrapped up in a nice little bow. Everything had a solid ending. But I miss the suspense, it all was to easy for me.

But I ageree Lydia- could not stand her and she got what was coming to her. Elliot and Gretchen, was not expecting it to go that way, but it was a genius move, Loved the laser pointer!

@odynsmom:  we don’t really know if walt was in custody or dead. I think dead, but they kind of left that open, insinuating that hes dead but not explicitly letting us know.

@cantonbride:  Vince Gilligan said on the after show that he’s definitely dead.

i thought the whole episode was phenomenal.

@cantonbride:  +1

I said to FI how could anyone as anxious and wussy as her be in the meth business?  He said that’s what made it kind of interesting and at times amusing but meh.. Never liked her.

I don’t know if anyone noticed, but at the end of the first episode of the second half of season 5 it said “in memory of our friend _____” (I forget the name).  It was in memory of a 14 or 15 year old fan of the show that Vince Gilligan and a lot of the cast came to know and become friends with.  When Vince was talking to him the kid mentioned that he wanted to know more about what happened to Gretchen and Elliott, and that’s why Vince wrote that part in to the show.  I thought that was incredible!!

@odynsmom:  I totally agree, I felt a little let down by the ending.  I think it’s because I really just expected everyone to die.  I’ve gotten so used to them just killing off people, I didn’t expect Jesse or Skyler to survive.  Part of me even thought they might go so far as to injure the kids.  Not that I wanted that to happen, I just had myself prepared to really be shocked.

And the biggest question they left unanswered:  What happened to Huell?!  Did he ever leave that room?  Poor Huell  😉
