Who saw Breaking Dawn & LOVED Bella's Wedding Dress & Shoes!! The shoes by Carolina Herrera were AMAZING (she collaborated with Monolo Blahnik and he is now selling the shoes for $1295) but I was pleasantly surprised by the gown! I am not a sleeves person on wedding gowns but it was gorgeous! Especially the back! The whole thing was awesome!! What did ya'll think of the dress & shoes! I'm still lookng for a dress pic!

Does anyone have a picture of it??? I'm dying to see it, but won't be able to see the movie til next week at earliest

Are people really gonna wear Twilight replica dresses? Lord have mercy on my soul.
I was kind of torn - I liked the back of the dress, but but not the front (the seems looked weird to me), and my feet hurt just looking at those shoes. To me, it was more "meh" than "wow."
I cannot believe that this movie has been out for 12 hours and not ONE picture of Bella's dress on the web.
The dress was gorgeous even if it is a Twilight Replica!!

@ChemistryBride: Agree! I'm a big fan of the books... but Kristen Stewart for Bella.. ugh. She always looks like she has some kind of attitutude.

I was disappointed with the few wedding promos I saw. She looked exactly the same as always, just with her hair in a messy bun. But otherwise, same sleep deprived look as always!
Does anyone know where I can find a cheaper replica of the shoes? I want them for my wedding!

Wow, I actually kind of like the dress, but I love Herrera's work, so I should not be suprised, but still...
I am hoping that the Alfred Angelo one will be a little less body gripping and a slightly higher back.
I think it was fitting for her. She would've looked out of place in a ballgown or anything poofy or ruffly. All over lace would've worked too.
I think the back made it look like her spine was sticking out and the front (you can't see in the photo) but it had these lines across it that looked so out of place. I wish they would have done all over lace.
Okay, I admit it. I loved her dress, the back was amazing. My mom and I were looking for dresses today and I seriously coun't stop thinking about that dress.
And I'm glad I'm not the only one who hates Kristen Stewart playing Bella, and honestly I'm not a fan of Robert Patterson playing Edward either. But seriously, she really does look drunk and angry. She's good in Speak but that's only because she probably doesn't need to act to play such a depressed character. LOL
I think she is actually just so unhappy to BE in Twilight. She was carving out a nice little indie film career, I think she had her eye on becoming Meryl Streep, Laura Linney, Katherine Keener. Now she is in Carrie Fisher territory.
I think the pout is because she is annoyed Ellen Page is getting the career she always wanted.
@Rubies: LOL. I didn't like her as Bella but who can be sad making all that money!? I actually did like her in The Messengers though... Snow White and The Huntsman looks pretty decent too (my FI is making me go see that) lol.
@Rubies: Supposedly Emily Browing was who the author envisioned as Bella, but she didn't want to sign onto a fanchise. *Sigh*

@HappilyEverAfter54: I was excited to see Snow White until I saw Kristen Stewart... I was watching the trailer and then when I saw her I was like "Noooooooooooo!" Seriously, my FI was cracking up!

Well maybe in 15 or 20 years they will redo the series. I like how the movies have been quite faithful to the books. They did that very well. It's just - the casting really wasn't good.
ETA: Emmett, Rosalie, Charlie, and the high school kids in Forks were good. Maybe they were just trying too hard to find special people for the other characters.

I haven't seen (and won't be seeing) any of the movies, because of the casting; and maybe the hype.
I was given the 1st book as a "uh... awkward" Christmas gift. I read it so I could talk to my teenage students about it; and then just read the Wikipedia synopsis of the rest of the books to find out how it all ends.
On seeing the dress picture here I have to say that
1. I like her dress from the back at least in those photos: love the fittedness, the low cut open back, and the buttons.
2. I am SO releived it doesn't look anything like MY dress.
Wow, thank god for buttons or else we'd be seeing Bella Butt Crack.
@Ivorybuttons: I was so relieved it didn't look like my dress either... people know I'm a huge fan and that would have been on everyones mind if our dresses looked alike. lol
I love the shoes. I haven't seen the movie, but in the pic posted her dress bores me. I think I need a better picture to really judge it....but so far its really "meh" to me.
After all the hype about that damn dress, I was expecting something better than that. That dress looks like something my grandma would wear.
I was 100% jealous of the wedding and honeymoon even though the dress was XP... lol
