future.mrs.koban:  I’ve got spanx (not for the wedding, just for those times you need a little bit of help 😉 ) and i’ve never noticed them stretch at all, I’m not sure if they’re meant to. What brand did you go for? Did the sales assistant advise that they should? If you haven’t worn any before they can take some getting used to as they are pretty tight but that’s a good thing, it makes you look fab! 🙂

future.mrs.koban:  Oh riiiiight I get you! Sorry I assumed by shapewear you meant spanx!

That set is gorgeous! I haven’t worn one like that before though so i’m not sure about sizing, I do know though that when boning heats up with your body heat it expands and sort of conforms to your figure (I just bought a bridesmaid dress with boning and the shop assistant told me to get the size that was a little tighter on top as the boning relaxes!)

So my guess is that it would be a little more comfortable once you’ve had it on a while 🙂
