I posted a few weeks ago and some bees told me to use zinc. I researched a bit and found that some people who break out, actually have a zinc deficiency (I’m no doctor, this is my personal experience). I happened to have some from when I got a piercing and started taking it. Three days later, and my skin is actually clearing up. Some people who had breakouts were talking about the gummy vitamins. I was taking those as well and quit. I didn’t notice a difference with that part, but I haven’t taken them just in case.

I don’t have any advice that’s worthwhile, but are you having a makeup artist?

We were up late[until 2 am] the night before my wedding, gettings things set up – the weather was bad and I was stressing like CRAZY. I woke up at 6 am [so, maybe 3 1/2 hours of sleep, at most] and my face was horribly broken out and bright red. I was freaking out, but my makeup artist told me not to worry – that she could cover all the redness & spots – and she did!

I looked great and as soon as she started the airbrush, I didn’t worry about a thing.

we’re getting hitched in 13 days too!!! I never had an acne problem till I hit my late 20s/early 30s and tried everything!!! I think it was a change in hormone levels. Anyway after a lot of trial and error I swear by Neutrogena Acne Scrub or Biore Blemish Scrub and then using witch hazel after I wash my face. hope this helps and Comgrats!!!

If you can get your hands on some Benzoyl Peroxide cream, you could try applying that to the pimples. It’s good at drying out current pimples and preventing future break outs. However, it can be very overdrying so I wouldn’t apply it to other areas of the face where you are clear.

I Agree with the post above about benzoyl peroxide ointment. I use one called benzac (in Australia). It’s quite good, but can make your skin go a slightly flakey if your not used to it. You only need to put it on the pimples, not your whole face.

See if you can get an appointment for an Acne Facial a week or so before the wedding – it’ll open up your pores and a professional can get in there and get rid of most of the infection.

I also recommend a benzoyl peroxide cream, as other Bees have suggested.
