I haven't had mine done yet...I may get them done after I have children. But if you want them, I say go for it! I am sure you will love the results.
i dont have them either but i have a few friends who do and they had a great experience! i think the both got their implants under the muscle and they look very natural :) i think if its what you want go for it! 12 weeks should be long enough to heal :)
I had mine done almost 3 years ago. I'm extremely happy with them and am so thankful I decided to have it done. Mine took a while to "drop" and look natural though. You might want to look at some pictures and talk to others who have done this - I would recommend a website called justbreastimplants.com. If you're not familiar w/ the process, if you're going under the muscle, they start off very high, square-looking, and very unnatural looking. It varies but it can take a while for them to drop and look round/natural. Personally, I don't think I would do it 3 months out. They might look natural at the 3 month point but also I'm assuming you'll have showers, parties, etc to go to and you may not be happy with how they look at that point. I had mine done in the winter so I could wear sweaters (especially cowlnecks) to camoflage the high/squareness.
I got mine 10 years ago and they took an entire year to fall....so they were pretty high. I guess it depends if you don't mind that.

Yeah, three months is really pushing it. Mine took a year to look natural. I would say a minimum of six months, especially for a strapless dress. They tend to sit high and tight for a while and this can make your skin in that area very shiny and noticeable. I've had mine for over a two years, I love them. Do lots of research!
I agree with the previous posters. They will be very high and unnatural looking for a while; in my case, it was about three (no lie!) years before they "dropped" and started to look natural. If you are OK with that, then that aspect shouldn't be a problem. In all honestly, I wish they were a little bigger and higher NOW (surgery was 7 years ago) for my upcoming wedding ;-)
Remember that this is a MAJOR surgery! It is painful and stressful and you are going to feel bad for several days or weeks. I don't know how much planning you have to do in the next three months, but take that into account.
All in all though, it's between you and your surgeon to decide. Let your doc know that your wedding is coming up and see what he/she suggests.
I agree with all the other posters... You are cutting it too close. Especially taking into consideration the fact that the doctor you choose doesn't schedule your surgery right then and there for the next day... It might take months to get you in if you doctor is reputable. I'd be wary of somebody who agreed to do them in such a short time frame. I had a consultation and two exams, plus a couple month wait before I got mine so that I could be REALLY sure. I was impatient, but it was so worth it in the end.
Get them afterward... just put pads in the dress! There are great undergarments out there. Don't rush yourself!
Have you gone in for your consultation yet? I had my consult in November 09' and didn't have the surgery till February 2010. My wedding was in July and mine looked just fine, not high at all. It might depend on if you get silicone or saline though oh and over the muscle or under the muscle. Also take into consideration your dress and alterations you may need because of bigger boobs.
Thank you all for your input! I love getting advice from people who have been through it. Ultimately I decided it would be best to wait until after the wedding. I would LOVE to have it done beforehand but I don't need the added stress of what they will look like.
I still plan to get them done after the wedding, and I cannot wait!!

I would love a little advice from brides who have had their breasts done.
I have wanted mine done forever and by the time I decided to bite the bullet and go for it, my wedding will be 3 months away.
Would you get yours done with only 12 weeks til your wedding?
I'm going to eventually get them either way, it would just be really nice to have them there to fill the giant gap in my strapless sweetheart neckline gown.
