I've seen alot of BF post in the last few days and now feel I need to jump on the wagon here.

DS is 10 days old. He latched on and did amazing the minute he was put to the breast. He did awesome the first 5 days. I had a C section and was worried how hard it was going to be, but he was such a sucker he did great. My Milk didn't come in until day 4 which I was still in the hospital and the baby's weight had dropped and put him in the 10% so they wanted me to suppliment, I held off another day, and the day we were supposed to go home, his billribin levels were high so they really pushed me to supplement to get his weight back up and bring his levels down. I was bummed. We were doing 1/2 oz every other feeding. He did okay with this for the first day and then I noticed him getting fussy on the boob. We tried to cut back a little on the suppliments but we were also worried about the health of our baby so we continued. After 2 days of this, DS has gotten really fussy, he will still latch and feed but it's a chore, he will suck for 2 mins, push it off, suck for another 2, push it off. We do this for a good 10-15 mins each breast.

On the 3rd day of doing this we went back to the dr and his weight had gone up to almost his birth weight, but his levels were still high so they wanted us to do it every feeding. We didn't agree and stopped with the bottle due to the fussiness. Thankfully the next day his levels started to come down which made us feel better. But now I have a really fussy eater who now wants to eat every hour because he doesn't feed goo durning his feedings, he is always falling asleep and not interested or pushing me away then sucking. We try everything to undressing him to bothering him to changing positions.

Every hour of feeding is draining me and making me feel trapped, but I want to keep BF and start pumping soon as well. Any suggestions/advice? DO I need a lacation consultant? ANyone else have a BF baby that wants to eat every hour?

You're actually doing fine! At 10 days old, babies should be breastfeeding every hour, so he's right on track. It takes several weeks for your milk supply to become fully established, and during this time baby's instinct is to suck-suck-suck as much as possible so that your body gets the signal to ramp up milk production. You need him to nurse as much as he needs to!

Ohh that is so good to hear! I was getting worried that he was sucking too much and not feeding enough at each sitting! Makes me feel better than, I thought he shoul be going at least 2 hours to 3 hours but guess that is when they are a little older.
