I am having 6 girls, he has 6 guys, plus a flower girl, and a “ring Yorkie.” My favorite color is bright yellow, with orange a close second followed by fuchsia. I am seriously considering having 2 girls in yellow, 2 in orange, 2 in fuchsia. We are getting married on the beach at sunset, and they will be short, sundress type dresses. I think the girls’ flowers will be the other 2 colors that they are NOT wearing. Yellow dress gets orange and fuchsia, orange has fuchsia and yellow, etc. What do you think of that idea? I am picturing sunny, bright happy colors for my June beach wedding.

I think that would be a pretty and fun color combo, but in my opinion, having 3 different bridesmaid colors would be too much. Maybe your Maid/Matron of Honor could wear one color, your bridesmaids a 2nd color, and the flower girl a white dress with a multicolored (yellow, orange, fushia) sash?? You could have all 3 colors in the flowers…
If you are really set on the 3 colors for the bridesmaids, then do it, as it is your wedding after all.
ETA: I personally prefer the different colors to be in the flowers, like this:
over different colors in the dresses, like this. I actually like this combo, but with 3 colors, I’m not sure if I’d still like it… if you love it though, then do it!!!

I would do two color bridesmaid dresses and the flowers in the third. I agree with pp three might be to much.

Too funny, the guys in that picture are in our colors but they will be in short sleeved white shirts, knee length khaki shorts and brown leather flip flops. 🙂 I am having 2 Maid/Matron of Honor (one maid one matron) so that’s why I thought them in yellow, the rest in the other 2 colors.
