I have heard about brides getting alteration quotes and not having the retailer alter it because normally they are more expensive.
How do you go about getting alteration quotes?
Do the alteration companies get offended if you don’t choose their services on the spot and walk out the door to weigh your options?
I’m asking this because I’ve been trying to reach the retailer that sold me my dress and their phone’s don’t seem to be working and it just keeps ringing. I personally would like to weigh my options. How do you get started?
Or does anyone know a really FABULOUS bridal alterer in souther california. Orange county or San Gabriel Valley area?
Sorry if this is a silly question

I don’t think this is a silly question at all! When my retailer quoted me prices for alterations they seemed a little high. I was talking to a girl in the office I was working at and she recommended a place that was right around the corner from us. I have a consultation next Wednesday, but it sounds like the alterations will probably be cheaper and the alterations themselves will look just as good!
I think it’s a good thing to shop around. Make sure to look up customer reviews!

@Brideonabudgetlauren: Thanks so much! I will definitely look more into it.
@mrs.lockandkey: Thanks for the recommendation. I think I will just need to make a few appointments. Yikes! So time consuming.
