I apologize in advance for anything that may not make much sense, I’m a bit stressed out by all this unnecassary nonsense.
Well, everything was going smoothly until I picked up my dress.
Got home, started double checking that everything was as it should be and to my surprise two items were missing. While, I should have demanded to check alongside the worker behind the counter peeking through the garment bag who was “checking” to see if everything was in place, I didn’t. Forgive me, I was running on four hours of sleep, it’s amazing I didn’t pass out waiting to be taken care of. I have since called the shop and questioned the dissapearance of the two items that vanished into thin air when we (a friend and myself) witnessed these items being placed into the bag the day of my dress shopping. There appears to be no emotion of concern or respect now that the dress has been purchased, and I cannot fathom doing further business for whatever reason with this corporation in the future. For whatever reason they took the items, I cannot help but feel betrayed that they not only rummaged through my dress bag (while it was being paid off) but that they actually took from me without replacing what I was purchasing. It has ruined the entire look, and I am debating returning the other two items I have due ot the fact I have a feeling that if I don’t I may have some trouble finding the right shade otherwise.
I was curious as to if any of you have experienced such poor customer service and or grattitude after making your dress or attire purchase for your wedding? What did you do to resolve the matter with the company/store and how did you go about it?
Also, do any of you happen to know where I can find these items (short sleeve bolero jacket, sash, and a birdcage viel) in one place without having to search high and low? I’d prefer individuals or small boutiques if possible as I’m not in the mood to be toyed with again by another large company.
