ugh yea! I unfortunatly used to work there, it was not well run. Even worse though is Victorian Rose...the most evil people work there!!!!
Oooh this place gave both Mom and me a bad feeling. The woman told me not to touch the dresses because after I was done trying them on, they would inspect them. If anything was damaged, we bought it! Crazy!
Why the poor experience at Victorian Rose? I ordered my dress there 4 months ago... :)
A few weeks ago I called to see if they require appointments. I was told in the most snotty voice- "No." I then asked what time they were open until. "5" in the same snotty tone. Mind you- I have a very pleasant phone voice and always put a smile on my face when talking to someone. My friend then called back to see if they had a particular Maggie dress. Again very snotty "No". So because of the girl who worked there, we chose to go to another place. Although we did end up going to their sister store in Cary. The woman who helped me there (Jeannie) was incredible!! She helped me find my dress and was extremely pleasant! She made dress shopping fun!
They have a terrible policy of charging $20 just to try on dresses. Don't go here. The owner is terribly rude.

I think for as much as this board is about helping and giving guidance, it's about saving us from HORRIBLE experiences.
I went to the Bridal Boutique of Raleigh last night with 2 of my bridesmaids, ready to place their orders for their bridesmaids dresses and received absolutely terrible customer service. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted. When I asked the consultant about my particular dress, she told me it was in the back and I could go pull it myself. I couldn't find the dress of course amongst all the dresses and she was very reluctant to help me.
She offered ZERO assistance with clipping, suggestions, guidance.. anything. I already have my dress thankfully, but I planned to look for a veil and again she offered zero assistance. I was telling a coworker at work about my experience and ironically she went there last year and said that she also received horrible experience.
Go at your own risk, but I think it was worth informing that this place has horrible customer service.
