Is anyone going to the Bridal Extravaganza Show this weekend? I am going with my mom and a couple of the BMs on Sunday. It is going to be a busy weekend for us, so i chose Sunday HOPING I would not have to cancel.
I’ve been before working it when I worked for a country club. It seems like fun. I am going to see the shows and maybe I’ll get lucky and find a dress. I have a friend that bought her dress there years ago for $100. A lot of our vendors are including with our venue fees so luckily I do not need to find a florist or DJ or any of that. I’m excited just to see what they have!

I went in January with my fiance before we got engaged. It gave us a great idea on locations and vendors to possibly use. Once we became engaged it was easy to narrow things down. I won two prizes from the raffles they do. I think we’ll be skipping it this time around since our wedding is three months away and for the most part everything is planned out already. Have fun!

I went last year and to the show in January. I found some great inspiration there and it was great to be able to see some of the dresses and be able to actually touch them. If you are still looking for both your dress and bridesmaids, I suggest watching the fashion shows. Again, it was nice to be able to see the dresses in person and see how they moved, plus they throw out prizes after each show and I was able to get some goodies from the toss.

Yea! 2 of my BMs and my mom are going with me this weekend. We’re planning on going on Sunday, hoping it will be a little less crowded. I just booked a venue this week, so I am looking for pretty much everything. It’s going to be fun!

Well, I went and we had fun. I did check out the “Your Beautiful Face” booth and pretty much decided that is where I am getting my hair and makeup done. Other than that, I think I am less decided on things that I was before.
#1 – I had already decided on a photgrapher but found another one that I really liked and the prices were not to bad either.
#2 – Found some beautiful dresses to add to my already long list of gowns to track down to try on.
#3 – We had narrowed the bridesmaid dresses to 2. Now, we saw one ofthe new line dresses from DB which could really work as well. In conjunction with that, I had already put a deposit at Al’s for the tux’s since we thought we re going with Alfred Angelo BM dresses (they have matching colors). If we go with DB BM dresses, MW has coordinating colors.
#4 Invitations. I have done a lot fo research online and really thought I was done. I made a mock up of my invite to show my sister and my mother this weekend. Their ideas are totally different from mine and are making me secodn guess myself now…
I am not sure if BE helped or just made things harder on me! LOL

I went to the one in Jan and it was a great place to get ideas. the thing is I took pictures (whenever I could) and hopefully can get a better deal. lt seems that you have some good ideas congrats and good luck. If you are looking for venues, I know there are some really nice plantation houses in montgomery who offer great deals (esp in march when your getting married)
