I went to Bijou Bridal. They're in Paramus, NJ. http://bijoubridal.com/
i have an appointment at www.bridalgarden.org on friday. they sound amazin and have great reviews. Designers samples at 75%off!! I will let you know how I get on....
You can try RK Bridal and search for the dress of your dreams. If you find something you like, jot down the maker and the style and you can bring it to Best Bridal for a much lower price. I got my Jasmine dress from Best Bridal after I tried it on at RK and including alterations, my dress was $600! It retailed at RK for over $900 plus $300 for alterations, so I think I got it for a steal! Granted my dress was very simple, depending on what you choose, prices will vary, but I highly recommend them! A thing to note. If you are looking for the whole boutique feel where they nicely hem up your dress for you before they alter it, then DO NOT go here! They take scissors to your dress as you stand there at the first fitting! It was traumatizing, but they did an amazing job with my alterations. The also don't have a real fitting room, you essentially change behind some wedding dresses they have hanging up in the corner, so it's not the whole Kleinfeld experience, but if you're looking for competitive prices, this place def is!
Tierney's Bridal Boutique. www.tierneysbridalboutique.com. 41 South Street, Morristown, NJ. I am from NY and went to many bridal stores and was less than impressed with the service, prices and options. I went to Tierney's and I cannot say enough about it! Not only is it the cutest shop ever but Alyssa Tierney is AMAZING!!! She is the owner of the store and she takes such pride in her selection of dresses and truly wants to help you find the perfect dress for you. It was a no pressure experience and it was extremely enjoyable :) Alyssa took the time to ask me what I wanted and really understood my vision. She explained each dress to me and told me about each designer in detail including what options I could change on each dress. She even encouraged me to take as many pictures as I wanted. The store carries the best accessories from shoes to veils and even has a wonderful selection of bridesmaid and mother of the bride dresses. I recommend Tierney's and I am certain you will find a dress well within your budget. (If you are planning on going on a Sat, make sure to make an appointment with Alyssa)
Oh, and an added bonus is that accross the street is a Bridesmaid Dress store... Nonchalance. www.nonchalancenj.com . They carry almost every bridesmaid designer imaginable! It is a little overwhelming but it is an invaluable experience to be able to try on almost every style available and actually see the colors in person. I also recommed this store for BM dresses, but you really need an appointment especially on the weekend!
Good Luck!
