I suggest posting this on your local board. You will probably get more responses 🙂

I went to Formally Yours in Lilburn. They have BEAUTIFUL dresses, and many are under $1,000. You can also walk right in without an appointment. I went during christmas week, and I got great attention from the staff. I wish I could remember the girl’s name who helped me. I told her what I wanted, and she pulled great dresses for me.

Try Sweet Elegance in Decatur – they have an amazing selection and the owners (mother/daughter team) are so much fun!  I got a great deal on my dress- much less than places like Formally Yours were charging (Though FY was a nice store).

I had good luck at both Bel Fiore in Marietta (Megan was awesome when it came to helping me find dresses — it was my first time trying them on and I wasn’t totally sure what I was looking for) and at Bride Beautiful in Sandy Springs.  I had a $1000-1200 budget and had no trouble finding dresses in that range so you should be good to go there.

I would take a look at Anya Bridals in Atlanta. The prices are great! It’s in a warehouse building and there’s nothing fancy about the place at all but the dresses are awesome. They have tons of styles and they are usually on sale. If your serious about wanting a dress and not the full bridal boutique experience, check them out! Ask for Meredith!

I would also suggest Bridals by Lori!!! They have such a huge selection in a variety of price ranges

I got my dress and all of the bridesmaids from Affordable Bridal in buford.  They are really awesome and you will be able to find a dress WAY cheaper than that.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m about to go look for my dress very soon and I wasn’t sure where to start.

I bought mine at Formally Yours and have had a great experience. I was just there last week to order my veil and have it bustled. I also liked Bride Beautiful in Sandy Springs. Good luck!

I bought my dress from Treasure Formals and Bridal.  They had a beautiful selection.. not large, but beautiful none-the-less.  Most of what I saw was under 1500!

I went to Wedding Angels in Roswell (Sonya), Priscilla of Boston (they have sample dresses)(Abrielle), Demetrios in Buckhead, JAndrews in Peachtree City (Theresa), Etain in Newnan (Penny) and Bride Beautiful (can’t remember her name), Davids Bridal in Morrow (Melinda) and Kennesaw.  Ummmm…I couldn’t find anything I loved although lots of things I liked.  I eventually bought my dress online.

BUT…I had very good experiences at every one of these stores.  They all had plenty of dresses in your price range.  Demetrios was the only slightly negative experience–I didn’t like the quality of the dresses and just didn’t click with the consultant although she was nice enough.

David’s Bridal gets a bad rap (and I’ve been in stores where they deserve it).  However, the staff at Morrow and Kennesaw are great.  The Kennesaw store is REALLY nice.  The Kennesaw and Duluth stores are getting the Vera Wang line next week.  If you go on a week night or day, it is considerably less crazy than on a weekend.

i got mine from wedding angels.  🙂  they have dresses from all price ranges.  and i love the ladies there.  customer service was just as important to me as finding the right dress, and some of the places have really unfriendly staff.

I am looking to try on an Allure C160 and Maggie Sottero Constance. I live in Chattanooga but none of the stores here have those dresses. Does anyone know of a good store in ATL that has a wide selection of Couture dresses like these? Thank you,
