I am curious..
Why does it cost more for bridal hair/make-up? I don’t understand why that just because it is for a wedding that it costs more. It’s not like it takes longer or they do a better job (or do they?) My wedding was 2 weeks ago so I can personally say I felt like I was treated the same as my bridesmaids. My hair actually took less time than my bridesmaids (a mix of me being last and sort of rushed, thanks mom! and the fact that I chose a simple up-do) and my make-up was similar to the other girls.
I just don’t get it. It has been bothering me so I thought I would get you lovely bees opinions and maybe someone can make me understand!

@savealife: right?! Its SO annoying!
I’ve been shopping for my wedding for like the past year and I see the 3-4x mark up all the time and it makes my blood boil! ON EVERYTHING associated with a wedding! Cake, Flowers, wedding gown, BM dresses, EVERYTHING! Its SO FRUSTRATING!
I think the wedding industry feels the need to mark things up because this is your “one wedding” and there is a lot of pressure to have everything be perfect and blah blah blah
I find it incredibly disrespectful to my budget and my brain in general (I KNOW I can get the exact same thing for cheaper thatn the quotes I’m getting from “wedding industry professionals”) so I’ve started to be secretive about my plans…
I might just go to a salon and tell them I need my hair done for a night out!
Sorry girly… I know you can’t change much now cuz you’re passed it but just warn other engaged girls about the mark ups so they can try to avoid it!
