Glad to know I'm not the only one up! :)
A bride last year used Erin Skipley and her wedding party came out great. She does both hair and makeup, and is something like $125 for the bride and $65 for 'maids.
I booked Erin (bellatrixstudio.com) for makeup, but I don't do the trial until a couple weeks before the wedding. She works a lot of photo shoots so don't worry if she doesn't get back to you right away. Email seems to work best.

I also booked Erin Skipley and won't be doing my trial until a month before too (wedding is in September).

I've heard good things about Kathy Evans. Her email is kathyevansbeauty@comcast.net. I have consultations set up with her and Erin Skipley. I second that Erin Skipley takes a long time to get back to you. I think she's totally swamped right now.
How much does Erin charge for trial?
I am curious to see if you gals are trying out multiple artists? If everybody takes so long to book, that might be a problem if you only try out one and you don't like that person?

I did not try others. Just email Erin (or others) and you can meet her if you want. Did you already try to contact her?

Has anyone heard of Jilladair Carlson? Do you think the makeup artists are just as good with hair?

Does anyone have recs for salons near Mt. Vernon or Anacortes? I live in Seattle, but am getting married in that area and the end of July and still need someone to help me look pretty.

Shimmer is based in Bellingham, but she can travel for makeup. She did a wedding last weekend, and the makeup was beautiful. I don't have recs for hair though, sorry.
I'm using Jilladir Carlson for my August wedding. I did the trail eariler this month and it went really well. She is doing my hair too, and did a fantastic job.
She is in Anacortes, but will travel.
