A friend and I were talking last night and to make a long story short she went to a wedding (the most expensive wedding she's ever been to - she estimated the budget at a million $) that essentially was ruined because of the bride's meltdown under the huppah over the flowergilr's behavior (let's say there was a lot of cursing and she was mic'd up and in front of a Rabbi). One of the things we said was that if she would have just reacted differently then the entire day would have been different for her.
OMG that's crazy! What would I do with a million dollar budget???!!!
But seriously, we've all seen someone lose their cool about one thing or another, it just doesn't have to be wedding related... :) OR AT the wedding!!
Wow, that's great! I had some help from family and friends to stay calm and take everything in stride -- just need to pull some of that zen-spiration into a post!

I attended a family wedding in July and just wanted to share...
The bride was beautiful, the venue was great and all went as planned... or so I thought.
Apparently, at the rehersal dinner, the bride broke her newly manicured nail (and had it fixed the morning of the wedding)
Wedding morning: a bottle of nail polish SHATTERED across the floor in the bathroom all the girls were getting ready in... polish everywhere, the grooms mom cut her leg badly, etc etc.
Do you know that this bride held it completely together?!? ... She said "I was going to enjoy my day if it killed me" So when all that stuff was going down, she delegated and left. What an inspiration! I know I would be Freaking.the.hell.out!!!
