I’m having a lot of trouble with jewelry selections and I have to make up my mind soon! I’m going with vera wang’s organza gown with draped bodice (link below)..the only difference is that my dress will be in white and my sash will be thinner (though it’s very similar to the one in the pic). I can’t decide whether to do a necklace or not. The sash already has a lot going on so I’m thinking about going with a 3-tear drop necklace and a thick bracelet, with my side bun for my hair (I’m going for the ballroom, romantic look) but I’m really torn! I’ve also always wanted to wear something in my hair, but I think the sash will clash with a hairpeice. Thoughts? Thank you!!!!

@meddy22: The sash wont clash with the hair piece if its something nice and soft with some nice earrings, because your hair will be up
you have a transition from hair, earrings no necklace clean neck line, and then sash… just enough pop in the right places
If you want to wear a necklace, I would suggest, necklace, tear drop nothing over the top nice earrings, some hair up and some down, or hair swooped to side because if you do it that way, it makes everything soft, versus your hair being completely up so then people are focusing more on your neck (or rather necklace) which isnt the focus point

Thank you girls so much for the advice! I’m thinking of foregoing a necklace and having my hair to the side (with curles) and tear drop earrings. And then adding a very soft headpiece…I have my alteration appointment in a couple weeks so I’ll play around with some options. It’s just crazy how much the jewelry changes the outfit!!
