@talibear: OPI has some really good solid nudes – I am at home so I can’t rummage through my nail polish drawer to tell you a lot of the names but one I always remember is Malaysian Mist (b/c I am half Malaysian haha)

You may want to try a department store since they will have everything out on display. MAC used to have some nice colors, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Dior. They may be a little more pricey, but at least in the dept store the counter gals will let you use the remover so you can try as many colors as you like on and see what you like.

I wore “Waltz” by Essie; it looks white in the bottle, but it goes on nude. Weird, I know, but I was really happy with it.
