So I am beginning to wonder if I chose wedding colors “right.” I am not sure if I have them tying together well.
The girls are wearing a floor length eggplant color dress, and the guys are wearing a gold vest/tie.
The way I was going to tie them together was through fall colored flowers, but now I am not so sure.
Are there any bees who had two different colors for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, and how did you tie them together??

I feel like if you like the colors together, they’re “right” 😀
Here’s an example of deep purple and gold together and I hthink i looks lovely 🙂
I think there are many “fall” shades of flowers you can do here!

Not sure if this is still relevant, but I was looking at the same color scheme, but just went bridesmaid shopping this week, and discovered that many of the tones of the eggplant colors out there are too silvery/grey, which I didn’t think looked all that great with gold. I was so bummed! 🙁 I don’t normally like gold, but I think it will look so gorgeous in the venue. I’m going with a brighter, richer purple with warmer tones that will mesh a bit better with the gold. Unfortunately, that’s the problem with purple, there’s so many variations and undertones, you really have to watch them.
