My bridesmaids are getting iTunes gift cards. I don’t know what the guys are getting. And our parents will probably get Snapfish books. We’re paying for everything ourselves, so I don’t feel like our parents really need gifts.

My girls will get Shoes to wear at the reception, lime green wristlet purses and jewelry which will be determined once we pick out BM dresses.

No clue on what the guys will get. FH is not being very helpful… “we have plenty of time” lol

Parents will prob get a pretty frame (will add pic once we get them back post wedding).

Reception Shoes: The girls will be in royal blue dresses…. I bought lime green flats that are satin and the very top edge by the foot is covered in sequins… best deal!!! $4 each and they are cute and comfy!

For my girls, I am getting them all 6 of them white Toms for the reception. I’m wearing sparkly blue Toms for my something blue so it would look great for some pictures and they could wear them again so I think it’s a good purchase. I am also getting them gold jewelry for the wedding.

My FI is getting the guys watches with their initials engraved in the back.

I have NO idea what I am getting the flower girls. I am buying them their jewelry and they will be 6 and 7, so I was thinking some kind of toy they really like and asking their mothers what they would want.

The ring bearer is only going to be 2, so I’ll just buyhim a toy or some kind.

And I really don’t know what I’m doing for my parents or my FIL’s. I was thinking about printing out one of our engagment photos when we get them and framing it in a beautiful frame. And I’m not sure what else? My parents and his parents are paying for pretty much everything but the limo and photographer so I feel that they need a really nice gift but have no idea what to really get them.

@vmec: Same for me. I have 2 to buy for and we’re going to get them each something that is unique and personal for them and totally non-wedding related.

My plan is to buy the girls pashminas, necklaces, make a personalized hanger and a survival kit.

Not sure about the guys, I’m just going to put FI in charge of that.

Parents are going to get photo books after the wedding. And maybe a gift cert for a nice dinner out and a bottle of wine, I’m not quite to that point yet.

I got my girls all different earrings, nail polish (named after them..Zoya names nail polish after womens names so I bought them their name), pashminas, and a tote bag.

ETA: They can use the stuff for the wedding or they don’t have to. I really don’t care either way

Our bridal party will be getting all the same gifts. I think we are going with flask gift sets. It has a flask, a shot glass, and a wine bottle opener.

Our bridal party is pretty relaxed and since we know them so well, we know they don’t want “typical” girls and guys gifts.

I hope it goes over really well!! We are also paying for their lodging (which can get expensive at a skit resort during the winter). I guess that is another gift, too!

I like the idea of Toms. My girls would like that too. Now I must make a decision…

@vmec: agreed.

@vmec:

@MrsConnick:

I feel the same way so I got them something they wanted but would not buy for themselves. Lighted magnified mirror, stock pot, bottles of whine, and giftcards for personal non-wedding use. This may sound tacky and uncivilized but they will love them.

So far I’ve ordered monogrammed windjammer totes and some personalized notebooks/notepads to put inside. I’d like to add one or two other small items to fill the bags. A few of my bridesmaids will be traveling by plane and I want to make sure the gifts are easy to travel with (e.g. nothing breakable).
