Our wedding colors are black, white, and lime green.
I’ve tried and tried to incorporate lime green but it’s just not working for me. I’m not wearing any lime green so when I picture this all in my head there’s just no flow.

I would say ivory tie for the groom if your dress is ivory. I am unsure that lime green will mash well with ivory and black. I would try to think of something else. Does it have to be LIME green?

@miss narwhal: Well in my mind it doesn’t. I mean our wedding colors are black, white, and lime green so our reception space will be decorated using this.
Our ceremony space will be mostly white with a few red or white roses for a rose ceremony.
That’s kind of my dilemma…I want to figure out how to make the bridal party look good and maybe that means they DON’T end up matching the decor LOL.
One of my bridesmaids also really wanted to wear a flower in her hair. Oh god…now I’m like okay should this flower match the flowers she carries. Can we nix carrying flowers and just do flowers in the hair?
And you said ivory tie…would this be against a white shirt? Or were you thinking an all black suit, black button up too?

Don’t overthink it- lime green is such a bold color, use it as an accessory for the outfits. Black tie, green pocketsquare or bout. Bridesmaids carry green and white flowers.

Agreed, just use flowers to tie in the green for the wedding party. I would consider grey ties. They will work with the black/white without being completely monochrome.

I would consider some complementary colors to show off the lime green, such as magenta or a purplish pink. For example, a few purple or dark pink flowers in the bouquets for the bridesmaids, and perhaps some bright green and pink or purple flowers in the boutineers for the groomsmen.
For the ties for the groomsmen, I would go with black, so they match the bridesmaids. For the groom, I think a silver tie or a white tie would probably look nice.
